Mid -Atlantic. Regional iii I Conference in Bethesda, Md. where they convened and competed for awards with the 31 chapters and five councils that comprise the region. They also witnessed Ellie Lipkin receiving the most prestigious | individual award presented by the region and entertained the delegation with song and dance ii Keynoting the Conference was B.B.W. International President, Grace Day. Work- shops pertinent to the needs of volunteer organizations and seminars dealing with such topics as "The Plight of Women in a Graying America: Senior Women" and 'Women's Health Concerns," which was Members of the BBW Tidewater Council performing for the Mid-Atlantic Regional lead by speakers from the Food and Drag Conference are from left. Arlene Sandler, Judy Miller, Joyce Salzberg, Susan Brewer and Administration, were a part of the agenda. Jean Barber For the Tidewater delegation, the high- light of the conference was the Gala Awards Banquet where it was announced that Boker RAIEL  Tov Chapter member Ellie Lipkin was selected to receive the Col. Elliott A. Niles THE Award for "Volunteer Of the Year."
